Ballooning is the oldest form of aviation. Already in 1783 the first hot air balloon took off. The technology has not changed since then. The material has of course been modernized considerably.
The powerful burners give an indescribable kick. You blow a flame of 800 degrees Celsius in a huge space. The balloon is no less than 3000 square meters in size. You heat the air to 100 degrees. Because hot air is lighter than cold air, the balloon floats up. Then you let yourself be carried on the wind. Below you is an enchanting little world. Experience that silence and enjoy!
Location
The balloon flight leaves from Amersfoort. The route is chosen depending on the wind direction. For example, you sail over Amersfoort, Den Dolder, De Bilt, the Soesterduinen, Zeist, Leusden, Scherpenzeel or Woudenberg.
What will happen?
Arriving at the take-off location, the adventure begins. There the balloon is assembled together under the guidance of a team of professionals. Ballooning is teamwork! The balloon is blown with warm air with a burner and fan. When there is enough hot air in the balloon, you can get in and take off. A gentle wind takes you over the Dutch landscape. Enjoy the breathtaking views. Of course there is every opportunity during your balloon flight to ask the pilot questions. He knows a lot about ballooning, but also about the landscape and surroundings. The pilot starts landing after about an hour. When it has landed safely, everyone helps to pack the balloon. To end the day well, we toast with a drink!
