The Diamond DA40 Diamond Star is an Austrian light aircraft, built of composite materials. It is a low-wing aircraft with four seats. The aircraft is built in Austria and Canada by Diamond Aircraft. It is a further developed version of the earlier Diamond DA20 which has only two seats.
The first production model came on the market in 2000. By the end of December 2020, 2200 DA40s had been delivered.
